By opening his foolish mouth to acknowledge and repudiate the nutcase pastor who wants to burn Qur’ans, President Obama has once again proven his ineptness at diplomacy and his disdain for the rights of Americans over the inflamed sensibilities of ignorant savages. And it only gets worse as military officers and the Secretary of Defense weigh in on the matter.
The only thing that anyone in the government should have said in response to the threat by a religious bigot with delusions of grandure to engage in expressive speech by burning a book was “The federal government is constitutionally prohibited from getting involved with or commenting upon private, local protest activities of this sort.”
That should have been the sum total of the federal response. Instead, in acknowledging this bigot, Obama has validated the bigotry and endangered our troops by showing weakness, cowardice and Chamberlainesque appeasement towards savage and ignorant Muslim barbarians.
And that is what radical Muslims are; savage, ignorant barbarians. Any person or group that would threaten violence upon a nation based upon the acts of a lone bigot is so deranged and deluded that worrying about what they will do in response to the free exercise of speech by citizens is pointless futility, and worse, it empowers them while diminishing our liberty. We must not allow that to happen.
Savage, ignorant barbarians like the radical Muslims who chant “Death to America” and kill their own people with bombs and bullets don’t need any excuse to act like ignorant savages, and validating their insanity by even acknowledging their potential for savagery if “provoked” is to give ignorant barbarians power over Americans and their right to free speech. Suggesting that we not “provoke” ignorant radical Muslim savages is the same as telling a rape victim she ought to lie back and enjoy it, and that it’s her fault that she was raped because she dressed provocatively.
No American should consider for one second upon the “consequences” of engaging in lawful free speech, even if it is claimed that the speech will inflame the emotions of some savage, ignorant Muslim barbarian somewhere in the world. Let them be inflamed. Let them rant and rave and riot. Their ire is of no concern to Americans, and should be of no concern to the President or anyone else in government. They are ignorant, savage barbarians, and that’s what the President should have called them, and that’s how the rest of us should treat them. They are unworthy of consideration, respect or regard, much less suppression of American’s free speech rights.
It is anathema to the founding principles of our country that any American should be afraid to speak their mind freely on any subject whatsoever. It is a heinous offense to our Constitution for the President to even suggest that the sensibilities of ignorant, savage barbarians like the radical Muslims who attack and kill our troops are more important than our right to free speech. Our soldiers are over there in part to protect our right to criticize Islam freely, and precisely to prevent savage, ignorant Muslim barbarians from imposing constraints on our rights through the use of terror tactics and threats.
We must never capitulate or compromise with savage, ignorant barbarians, we must ignore their complaints and fight them when we must, in order to preserve our right to freely criticize anyone, at any time. If the savage, ignorant Muslim barbarians don’t like it, tough. Bring it on, we’re up for the fight.
To give credence to the Oval Office demand to self-censor our opinions about Islam is to grant savage, ignorant radical Muslim barbarians a tremendous victory. We must not permit this to happen. We must continue to express our individual opinions without fear and as it pleases us to do so precisely in order to deny victory to the savage, ignorant Muslim barbarians who would silence us.
If that inflames them, well, they are savage, ignorant barbarians after all, and we’ll deal with them as the occasion arises.

Thank you Seth, well said. It astonishes me that anyone can think that denying a citizen a right or punish him/her for exercising a right, is reasonable, acceptable, will insure security or will appease terrorists.
